We celebrated the day by donating liquid soap, Masks and Hand sanitizers. Through the Ministry of Public Health, hand washing demonstrations were done, led by Priscilla Ruto – a Community Health Worker. The target was the market leadership, who are tasked with the role of ensuring that all the people visiting the market are observing hand hygiene to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and other diseases transmitted through poor hand hygiene.

This was a joint collaboration between CIA, Saraya Company Limited and Public Health.
