About Us
Community Initiatives Agenda (CIA) organization was founded in 2016 as a non- profit making and non-governmental entity in Kenya
This organization was founded to address gaps in the society that hinder children from developing to their full potential. CIA in consultation with representatives of communities in the arid and semi-arid regions came up with an integrated approach as a strategy that would address the needs of the vulnerable children and their caregivers. The integrated approach/model has the following key components: Early Childhood Development, Education, Health, Environmental conservation and Economic strengthening for the caregivers
Vision
We envisage a community that is empowered to actively participate in promoting the healthy development of children in cognizant of their role as key contributors to the social and economic growth of their nation.
Mission
To serve as a catalyst for community initiatives in improving the quality of life for children and their caregivers by advancing an integrated and community lead approach in: Early Childhood Development, Education, Health, Environmental conservation and Economic strengthening

Our Philosophy
We at CIA believe in putting communities in the lead to create local solutions to development solutions for challenges that deny vulnerable children an equal opportunity to thrive in life. CIA seeks to focus on improving the quality of life for children and their caregivers through the delivery of high impact interventions.
Governance
CIA has a board of governors, the members are professionals working in different fields but committed to supporting the organization in policy guidance and fundraising efforts.
