George Njenga is the Chairman & Chief Operating Officer of GE South Africa. He doubles up as the Regional Executive for the GE Steam Power business responsible for Sub Sahara Africa and is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. George has worked in the energy industry for over 28 years, having worked for 18 years with Chevron/Caltex downstream and for over 10 years with GE. During this prolific career George has worked in several locations in Africa including Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Cameroon and South Africa. He has also done assignments in Asia and Middle East. George has extensive experience in Sales & Marketing, Production & Manufacturing, Project & Business development, General management and Business leadership
George serves in the Meru University Innovation & Incubation Center advisory board in Kenya.
He graduated from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and an MBA in strategic management & marketing. He is an Alumni of GeogiaTech Institute (strategy in the energy industry) and Michigan Ross Business school (management).
Immaculate Salaon is the founder and Executive Director of Community Initiatives Agenda. Immaculate has for the last 18 years, worked with multiple non-governmental organizations targeting vulnerable children in the field of Early childhood Development, Education, Youth and women.
Immaculate is a graduate of Kenyatta University, a certified project manager, and an educationist with a strong background training in community development. She comes as an acclaimed and respected consultant in the Kenyan Early Childhood Development sector.Immaculate is also an active Rotarian.
Sospeter Ikonya is a Global Grants and Contracts Specialist in Nairobi Regional Hub for PATH, a globalhealth support and innovation NGO.
Sospeter is a Health NGO management professional with expansive experience in grants, contracts and project management,health finance, organizational capacity development, budgeting, donor negotiation and compliance. He has worked with a wide range of donor awards including USAID, SIDA, DfiD, UN, BMGF, GAVI, Global Fund and among others.
Sospeter earned both BA and MBA degrees from the University of Nairobi and holds Certified Public Accountant of Kenya certification as well as in Project Management for Development (PMD Pro).
