C.I.A partners with Universal Baby

In July of 2022, C.I.A partnered with Universal Baby in a project on nurturing the brain development of a child early in their life.

The project saw the two organization visiting a remote village in Kajiado South, where caregivers were sensitized on  how they can protect and nurture their children’s brain development during the first two years of life.

Universal Baby is a public health intervention  to share current neuroscience about how caregivers living in high-adversity environments can protect and nurture their children’s brain development during the first two years of life using video and mobile technology. The organization whose headquarters are in the U.S, was represented by Alice Tenjiwe Kabwe Grollnek – Co-founder Universal Baby and Julia Davis – a Volunteer with Universal Baby.

The team was thrilled by the experience of the Kenyan Savannah.
