Hello, my name is Alex. I am 18 years old. I am in Form 4 at Nakeel Secondary school in Kajiado County, Kenya.

I come from a family of 8 children, where I am the second last born. My mother is the sole bread winner of our family after our Dad passed on. Being brought up by a single parent has come with its own challenges like lack of basic needs such as food, water, school fees, electricity and clothing.

I like playing football and rugby. I also love singing, I am member of the praise and worship at my local church where I also play drums. I am passionate about community service and mentorship. I am grateful to God for linking me to Community Initiatives Agenda, who have supported my journey through secondary school as well as responding to welfare issues at family level.
