CIA is currently working with two public schools: Loolakir and Ololailei Primary in Kajiado South Sub – County. The ongoing projects include:
- Construction of a classroom for young children learning under a tree, where it’s hot, windy and dusty, an environment that is not conducive for learning. The project is expected to improve the quality of Early Childhood Education and consequently increase enrollment in the learning centre.
- Construction of 4 pit latrines 2 per the ECD learning centres in both schools. This will improve hygiene and sanitation for the young children.
- Support for uniform, sanitary towels, desks, sports materials
- Development of play and learning materials using local resources.
